Two mavericks hurl The Pit into freefall through a teeth-clenching global bass vortex. Paris-based, Honduran Low Jack comes draped in Draaimolen appreciation. For over a decade he has caringly shoehorned electronic and experimental dance music into his own molds, not shying away from hitting critical notes through clever recontextualisation. For The Pit closing, we have invited him to link up with the ultra-gifted R3IGN DROPS. The Kampala-based DJ and producer has shown us a bold MO for genre-defiance. Her ways with the wheels allow her to swerve through a vast and specialist library of experimental bass, batida, afro tech and gqom. Strap in for a closing that evades everything typical.
