Another one of our commissioned live shows, Cola Ren and K-Lone are serving up agile, fluttering bass music - perfect for deep listening on a sun drenched afternoon. Cola Ren is a producer from Guangzhou, China crafting poetic forays into downtempo and bass. Moving gracefully across ambient, jazz and leftfield influences, her music is a delicate, introspective practice. Her most recent release on Human Pitch, Mekong Ballad, is a record guided by rivers and memory - an ode to landscape and stillness. Wisdom Teeth label head K-Lone has been a mainstay of the post-dubstep UK bass scene, with releases that span most genres under the sun. His expertise lies in punchy, colourful percussion that holds together clouds of lush textures and atmospherics. His output delivers on impact with stealth and elegance.
